I worked for this company twice the first time I got pay late but at list I did, this time they just refusing to answer my calls and I still haven't received my check of $675.00 since the 15 of March 2013.

They telling me, on the only email they send me, to stop the harassment, but they still haven't send my check!

And also students go to their school to get a diploma that is not even valid because this school is not recognized my the state, is a total scam.

People be aware I advice everyone not to work for this company even if Soni the owner seems real nice, she's not at all all she cares about is money.

Students choose a real school to learn the art of makeup this is not it!

They even told me that if i don't stop with the phone calls they will call the police!!!!This scam of "school" is been out there since 1994 I don't understand why because they don't even pay taxes because I heard that they pay also in cash in order not to pay taxes on it.

I hope this company will close down real soon hopefully with my help

Monetary Loss: $675.

NYBS Creative Arts (NYBSCA) total SCAM

I went in to this "school". I was hoping to learn how to become a makeup artist. I paid my deposit and it wasn't until i was six weeks into my 3 month program that I realized that these are not state certified and my "certificates" meant nothing.

ALSO Ms. Akemi Sone barely spoke any English at all. she kept calling herself "high end fashion desinger" and I didn't understand why that gave her the ability to teach the classes. Apparently she hasn't designed anything since the 90s.

I would stay away from these guys if you care at all about getting ajob after. I tried and no one would accept by certificates to work in a salon with them. They should be forced to stop calling themselves a "school". I later noticed on their website that they never refer to themselves as a school there, but constantly did while I was attending classes.
